A Houston, Texas couple were accosted by an armed home invader who wanted cash and drugs this week. The husband got into a struggle with the armed man. This gave his wife time to get a gun and she killed the burglar. But, the husband was hit in the arm by a stray shot from his wife’s gun. Police believe that the killing was justified. The husband is recovering from his wound.
A woman was arrested in the parking lot downstairs in what the authorities believe is the getaway car.
When Gary Anderson saw a strange car in his driveway without anyone in it, he got his handgun and went downstairs. Home Invaders ad kicked down the back door.
He was surprised to find some strange men in his computer room. They shoved him, threw a glass bowl at him, and ran past him.
As he approached the front door of the house, Marvin Wallace was shot at least twice by Mr. Anderson, and received critical injuries. Anderson shot three or four times and hit the man in his leg and torso. He dropped outside the front door. The second burglar was caught by police just over the state line in Tennessee. He will be charged with burglary. The home invader who was shot will be charged if he survives. The homeowner faces no charges.
And, In New Orleans:
A carjacker jacked his last car this week when he pointed his gun at the driver and told him to open the door. Twenty four year old Joshua McElveen’s intended victim pulled his own gun and shot McElveen several times. He dropped his gun, fell, and was dead at the scene.
