1. He can heal the sick.  "Stand up, Chuck, let 'em see ya. Oh, God love ya," Biden said, after realizing his mistake. "What am I talking about?"

2. "You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent, I'm not joking." In a private remark to an Indian-American man caught on C-SPAN, June, 2006

3. On John Edwards: "Look, John's last-minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number-one job facing the middle class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs. J-O-B-S, jobs.", Athens, Ohio, Oct. 15, 2008

4. "Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me." Nashua, New Hampshire, Sept. 10, 2008

5. "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man." Joe Biden, on Barack Obama at the beginning of the 2008 Democratic primary campaign, Jan. 31, 2007

6.  "A man I'm proud to call my friend. A man who will be the next President of the United States — Barack America!" At Biden's first campaign rally with Barack Obama after being selected as his running mate, and Sidekick in Chief- Springfield, Ill., Aug. 23, 2008

7. Biden mistakenly referred to Alaska governor Sarah Palin as the "lieutenant governor" of her state during a town hall meeting on Sept. 4, 2008 at George Mason University.
"I heard a very, by the way I mean this sincerely, a very strong and a very good political speech from a lieutenant governor of Alaska who I think is going to be very formidable, very formidable not only in the campaign but in the debate.”

8. With over 1,800 U.S. Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines dead and over 15,000 wounded at the hands of the Taliban since 2001, Joe Biden Does not believe the Taliban is our enemy.
Biden recently said, "Look, the Taliban per se is not our enemy. That's critical, There is not a single statement that the president has ever made in any of our policy assertions that the Taliban is our enemy, because it threatens U.S. interests. If, in fact, the Taliban is able to collapse the existing government, which is cooperating with us in keeping the bad guys from being able to do damage to us, then that becomes a problem for us." Our military losses are apparently not considered by Biden as threatened U.S. interests.

9. On July 16, 2009, Vice President Biden said this about the enormous output of spending in Obama’s stimulus. "People, when I say that, look at me and say, 'What are you talking about, Joe? You're telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?" he said at a stop in Virginia. "The answer is yes."

10. "This is a big f***ing deal," Joe Biden, said on an open mike congratulating President Barack Obama during the health care signing ceremony, Washington, D.C., March 23, 2010

11. Biden addressed a former Senate colleague on March 13, 2009, by saying, "An hour late, oh give me a f***ing break," after he arrived on Amtrak at Union Station in Washington, D.C. The vice president's expletive was caught on another live microphone. 

12. "When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened." Joe Biden, wasn't  apparently aware that FDR wasn't the president when the stock market crashed in 1929 and that TV was only experimental at the time with just a few experimental TV sets  in use at that time.

13. Contradicting Obama’s advice to the public not to panic during a swine flu outbreak, Biden gave airlines and Obama a headache when he said, ""I would tell members of my family, and I have, I wouldn't go anywhere in confined places right now. It's not that its going to Mexico, it's that you are in a confined aircraft when one person sneezes, it goes everywhere through the aircraft. That's me. I would not be, at this point, if they had another way of transportation, suggesting they ride the subway." Today Show" interview, April 30, 2009

14.  After touting the Government stimulus website on TV, and encouraging viewers to visit it, he was asked the name of the site. Biden said, "You know, I'm embarrassed. Do you know the Web site number? (Joe Biden, speaking to an aide standing out of view during an interview on CBS' "Early Show) I should have it in front of me and I don't. I'm actually embarrassed."," Feb. 25, 2009

15. In trying to build House Democrats’ Caucus confidence, Biden said,"If we do everything right, if we do it with absolute certainty, there's still a 30% chance we're going to get it wrong." Williamsburg, Va., Feb. 6, 2009

16. Biden referred to John McCain as "George" during his vice presidential acceptance speech on Aug. 27, 2008, at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Co. "Freudian slip, folks, Freudian slip," he explained.

17. "A successful dump!" --Joe Biden, explaining his whereabouts (dropping deadwood at the dump) to the reporters outside his residence, Wilmington, Del., Aug. 20, 2008

18.  At a Jan. 30, 2009, swearing-in ceremony of senior White House staff, Biden mocked Chief Justice John Roberts for his presidential oath blunder on Inauguration Day.
"Am I doing this again?" Biden said, after Obama asked Roberts to re-administer the oath. When Biden was told the swearing-in was for senior staff -- and not cabinet members -- the vice president said, "My memory is not as good as Justice Roberts," which got him a stern nudge from Obama.

19. "Jill and I had the great honor of standing on that stage, looking across at one of the great justices, Justice Stewart," Biden said, mistakenly referring to Justice John Paul Stevens, who swore him in as Vice President in Washington, D.C., Jan. 20, 2009

20.  Biden said he was running for President, and not Vice President during a September 1, 2008 roundtable discussion in Scranton, Pa.
"Today is the moment for me as a United States Senator running for president to put aside the national politics and focus on what's happening down there,"

Bonus gaffe:
21. Biden confused army brigades with battalions when speaking about Obama's plan for sending troops to Afghanistan.
"Or should we trust Barack Obama, who more than a year ago called for sending two additional combat brigades to Afghanistan?"
