Why Is The Obama Campaign Near A Stall?

."A NBC/Marist poll released on May 31st, shows that Obama and Romney are in a dead heat in three swing states. They are Iowa, Colorado, and Nevada. Here we are just about 5 months away from the Presidential election, and Obama can’t seem to keep a lead. Let's trust that his followers keep smoking that Hopeium.

How can this happen with the record he has?
Here are a few reasons how it can because he:

Can't run on gun control because he is still working on some things "Under the radar."
Can't run on Obamacare now because it will likely be ruled unconstitutional.
Can't run on his opposition to Arizona's enforcement of US immigration laws because the the state's actions will likely be upheld.
Can't run on economic growth.
Can't run on foreign policy. No one knows what it is.
Can't run on cutting the deficit in half.
Can't run on posting all bills coming for his signature 5 days before signing.
Can't run on unemployment not going over 8% with the 800 billion stimulus filled with earmarks that he promised not to allow.
Can't run on the "Dog on the roof."
The "War on women" attack failed.
Can't run on saying Romney's grandfather being a polygamist anymore because his own grandfather had five wives.
The Romney "Bully" attack failed when he said he shoved a female student to impress onlookers.
Can't run on his Nobel Prize.
Can't run on getting Chicago the 2016 Olympics after his personal plea.
Can't run on closing Gitmo.
All he can run on is a misrepresentation of what venture capital is and what it actually does.
The SEALS killed Bin Laden, but that is not enough for reelection.
He has been a failure as the CEO of this country and its shareholders, the American public.
He cannot articulate why he should be given a second term.

Israel Enforcing Law Banning Security Guards From Taking Work Firearms Home

In one of the most dangerous places in the world to live, an anti gun rights/anti self defense organization  has been successful in their campaign to prevent off duty Israeli security guards from taking their firearms home with them after work. There is an existing law that prohibits them from doing that; however, it has not been enforced.

This group and other international gun banning groups believe that the off duty security guards bringing their firearms home with them poses a "particular danger" to women. The group that calls itself “Gun Free Kitchen Tables,” cites the usual anti gun themes, such as
“the impracticality of safe storage in the home for such guns.”  They also complain that "there is little public discussion on the implications of small arms proliferation, an issue that is not often talked about in Jewish Israeli society" 1 But, when there is a real and proven daily threat to Israeli lives from terrorists, there probably wouldn’t be much gun control discussion going on for Israelis in the real world of self defense there. In reality, bringing their firearms home with them poses more of a "particular danger" to terrorists.

This push came after one security guard shot his wife 8 times with his service firearm he kept at home. She had previously complained to police about his domestic violence about a year before the shooting, yet apparently remained with him. Another woman was killed by her security guard husband. 1

The government has said that they will enforce the security guard guns at home provision. 1 But, not forgetting the brutal murders that have taken place in Israel and the slaughter of a family of five Israelis killed by Palestinian terrorists in 2011, a new law has been proposed in the last few days to counter enforcement of the existing law. This new law was immediately proposed after this group complained about the security guards. If passed, it would automatically allow security guards to carry their service firearms home. 2

Contrary to common belief, Israel actually has very strict firearms laws.
Here are the laws gun there according to “Jews For The Preservation Of Firearms Ownership” (JFPO) as published in 2002 3

Mindless Destruction Is The Name Of The Game On May Day, 2012

On May 3rd, the Cleveland, Ohio Mayor's office refused to renew the sidewalk encroachment permit that has been in effect for the last seven months for the Occupy Wall Street group  there . The City stopped the "Kid Gloves" coddling yesterday, when a City Parks and Recreation Department crew entered the formerly permitted area and removed a tent that had been there for the last seven months.

The yanking of the permit follows the arrest of five people associated with Occupy Cleveland who attempted to blow up a highway bridge "occupied" every day by Ohio residents and their families as they traveled across it in their cars. The mayor's office questioned the Groups' welcoming people who will commit such violent crimes into their group.

Here are the group's responses to the permit refusal and the would be bridge bombers associated with them:

May 1, 2012 – Cleveland – While the persons arrested Monday evening by the FBI have participated in Occupy Cleveland events, they were in no way representing or acting on behalf of Occupy Cleveland. Occupy Cleveland has affirmed the principles of non-violence since its inception on October 6, 2011.
Occupy Cleveland has spoken out and worked against violence in all its forms, including:
  • Wars and occupations
  • Economic violence of financial inequality, unemployment, debt, and foreclosure
  • Social violence of racism, sexism and homophobia
  • Environmental violence of global warming and fracking
Occupy Cleveland believes the only way to respond to a violent federal and corporate state is through active non-violence.
It is unfortunate that this occurred on the eve of May Day, the day the Occupy movement and workers around the world have taken to the streets, demanding justice. What has happened in no way discredits the issue and the non-violent methods of Occupy Cleveland and the Occupy movement worldwide.
###
But, it is impossible to maintain not having "non violent" actions of the groups' supporters. Apparently some of the non violent methods of the Occupy Wall Street 99% includes breaking into buildings, including the Oakland, California City Hall, where earlier this year they smashed display cases, spray painted graffiti, and broke windows. Over 400 Occupiers were arrested at that "protest." The same type destruction was caused by them in other cities across the country in their May Day "General strike."
